Garden Studio in Wood Green, London

One of our ultra-modern Holt Garden Studios has been installed in Wood Green, London, for a customer wanting a building to use as a relaxing garden retreat. They wanted a building that would allow them to enjoy the views of their garden from inside and thought that the Holt Studio would be the best option for this as it has two fully glazed walls as part of its design. In order to create your tailor-made garden building, all of our garden buildings are hand-made to order. Our skilled CAD designers make the manufacturing plans for your building before it is hand-crafted using FSC® certified timber by skilled craftsmen inside the factory at our Norfolk HQ. It is then delivered and installed in your garden by our expert installations team, which is included in the price of your building as part of the end-to-end service we offer.

We make our Holt Studio in a wide variety of different sizes and configurations. They are available as small as 3.0 x 3.0m and as large as 4.6 x 7.0m, you can also choose whether you would like a left-hand design or a right-hand design. Our customer has opted for a right-hand design measuring 3.0 x 3.6m. Our Holt has a pent roof design that charmingly overhangs and a small veranda, which on this building extends to the front and side of the building to 0.6m. The roof overhang and veranda are connected by two exterior walls, which we have called “Cheeks”, and they nicely frame the Studio. To decorate the shiplap clad exterior, our customer selected colours from our high quality, weather resistant exterior paint system. They chose Slate as the main colour, with the “Cheeks” and the roof overhang highlighted using the shade Pebble.

With full internal lining, insulation, and double glazing included as standard, our Studio is a fantastic choice for a year-round use building. Our customer has chosen to further enhance their building by having an electric pack installed as extra, which will enable it to be supplied with power and lighting. Other interior options chosen by our customer include Ivory painted matchboard on the walls and engineered flooring laid in the colour ‘Shade Oak’. Our engineered floorboards sit on top of the existing floorboards, with a layer of underlay in between the two, providing further insulating and sound-absorbing benefits.
