Langham - Garden Offices | Kent | Crane Garden Buildings

We have installed one of our Langham garden offices in Swanley, Kent for a customer in need of an insulated garden office building that would enable them to work from home in year-round comfort. As all of our garden offices are made to order, our customer was able to select which of our interior and exterior design options they wanted to create their dream garden office. This Langham garden office was hand-crafted to order inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our installations team. Our installations team are the experts when it comes to ensuring our buildings are installed to a high standard, which is why we include delivery and installation by them in the cost of all our garden offices.

The Langham is a traditional garden office with an apex roof and desk height windows included as part of its design. It is available in many different sizes so you can choose the size that best suits your outdoor space. Our customer opted for their garden office to measure 2.4 x 4.2m, with a reduced roof pitch to bring the overall height of the building down to meet permitted development regulations. It has a triple window set containing two opening windows and two single opening windows on the side of the building, with a set of glazed double doors in the gable, allowing plenty of natural light to flood the interior. The apex roof is covered in grey slate effect tiles and the desk height windows are double glazed and plain in style. Guttering has also been fitted to this traditional garden office, which will collect rainwater runoff from the roof and deposit it away from the building to help to protect the bottom boards. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap and painted in Lizard from our Exterior Paint System, which is a lovely green-toned shade that will complement any garden setting.

To ensure you can comfortably work from home inside it all throughout the year, this Langham garden office comes fully insulated and lined as standard. For further practicality, our customer chose to have electrics installed, which supplies this traditional garden office with power and lighting. The walls and ceiling of our Langham Studio come lined with natural matchboard as standard, but you can upgrade to painted matchboard lining for an alternative look. Our customer has opted to have the walls of their insulated garden office lined with Ivory painted matchboard to give a bright and clean looking finish inside, alongside our standard floorboards. As well as choosing your preferred lining option, you can also upgrade from standard flooring to either a lacquered floor or engineered flooring, which will further enhance your garden office.
