2.4 x 3.6m Morston Summerhouse painted in colour match Dulux Heritage White with red slate effect tiles on an apex roof

We have installed one of our summerhouses in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The summerhouse chosen by our customer is one of our Morston Summerhouses. They opted for this style of summerhouse as they liked that it has both indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. This garden summerhouse was designed to our customer’s specifications by our CAD engineers before being hand-crafted to order from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory. It was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by experts from our installations team, which we include in the price of all our summerhouse buildings.

The Morston is a chalet-style summerhouse with a sheltered veranda included as part of its design. It is available in many sizes, with our customer opting for a 2.4 x 3.6m garden summerhouse. It has an apex roof design with a set of double doors and two fixed windows to the front, and an additional fixed window installed on both sides. The roof is covered in vibrant terracotta slate effect tiles and the exterior is clad with shiplap, giving it a smooth surface finish. Our Morston Summerhouse comes treated with a light oak preservative as standard, but our customer wanted one of our summerhouses delivered and installed with a painted exterior. We offer our Exterior Paint System, a choice of colours from Farrow & Ball’s Paint System, and we also have a colour match service so you can pick a colour of your choosing. Our customer opted for a colour match to Dulux Heritage White.

I dealt with Peter initially, who I found very helpful, honest, and accommodating, without whom we may not have committed to buying this at the time we placed the order. Joe and Tony, the fitters, were super-efficient and diligent. Their time on site was not intrusive at all and they got the job done to the highest specification within the expected time. Internally, the Morston Summerhouse is unlined as standard, but as our customer wanted a year-round use summerhouse, we were able to tailor the design by adding full insulation and lining. Our customer opted to have painted matchboard lining for both the walls and ceiling in Ivory inside their garden summerhouse. They also chose to have a natural lacquer applied to the floor, which will protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.
