For aircraft enthusiasts everywhere, a big date in the airshow calendar is fast approaching: The Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire is taking place this weekend (14th-16th July).
Aircraft are one of the things in life that inspire awe in such a wide range of people, from children first discovering them on the ground and in the air, to aircraft veterans who have been to countless airshows over the years, but never tire of their beauty.
Fairford is certainly one of the biggest airshows in the yearly calendar, some would say the biggest. The show takes place across this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and if the in-air displays aren’t enough to keep you occupied, there will also be an array of aircraft on the ground to admire, as well as a whole host of stalls, and entertainment.
RAF Fairford is only 13 miles away from our Burford Show Centre, so why not spend an amazing day at the airshow, and then pop over to see us and our wonderful range of timber garden buildings, including Garden Sheds, Summerhouses and Garden Rooms, the day after.
Sounds like the perfect weekend!
