Blakeney Summerhouse in Tunbridge Wells
Externally, the summerhouse features an apex roof covered with attractive grey slate composite tiles and smooth shiplap cladding which gives it a seamless, contemporary look. The small roof overhang provides some sheltered space so that our customer can enjoy the great outdoors no matter what the weather is doing, and a storage section at the rear of the building which is accessed via a separate external door. Not only does this give the summerhouse a versatile design, but it also keeps the recreational space clutter-free for maximum enjoyment. Finishing touches to the outside of the building also include the shimmering polished brass hardware and Pebble shade paint, which was chosen by the customer from our extensive range of high-quality, weather-resistant paints.

Inside, this bespoke garden building in Tunbridge Wells benefits from insulation and natural matchboard lining, along with a lacquered floor and electrical pack. This means the summerhouse can be used and enjoyed all-year round, with the added benefits of lighting and sockets making it easy to entertain friends and family. A true extension of their living space, our customers plan to use the summerhouse as a relaxation room where they can enjoy long summer evenings and cosy winter afternoons. They were also able to cleverly integrate a shed storage section by adding a partition wall and stripping out the insulation at the rear, which not only brings the total cost down but provides a convenient air gap between the exterior wall and the relaxation space at the front.
