Summary:
This traditionally styled summerhouse is our Flatford, which is part of our collection of sheds and summerhouses made in partnership with the National Trust. Measuring 1.8 x 2.4, it has a set of double doors and two fixed windows to the front of the building, and an additional top-hung, opening window installed on both sides of the building to allow for air flow on hot days.
The summerhouse has olden-style design features that add to its character including Fleur-de-Leys style hinges and door and window furniture with a mortice lock, black corrugated sheeting on the roof, and cross leaded windows. This Flatford National Trust Summerhouse is also traditionally cladded using vertical sawn boards and painted in the lovely neutral shade of Disraeli Green from our National Trust Paint System, which is just one of six colours you can choose from in this building range.
