Ickworth National Trust Summerhouse 2.4m x 1.8m (334090)
Model: Ickworth National Trust Summerhouse
Size: 2.4m x 1.8m (8ft x 6ft)
Summary:
This traditional-looking summerhouse is one of our Ickworth Summerhouses, made in collaboration with the National Trust, and it has been installed at our Newbury show site. It measures 2.4 x 1.8m, with its design inspired by an old outbuilding at Ickworth House in Suffolk, which is just one of the many properties the National Trust looks after in East Anglia.
It has an apex roof with a charming overhang and four leaded windows, with two of them opening to help circulate air inside the building. It also comes unlined to make the building ideal for use a summertime garden retreat.
With corrugated sheeting on the roof, cast iron Fleur-de-Leys hinges and vertically sawn FSC® certified timber boards for the exterior cladding as some of its features, this summerhouse is sure to add plenty of character to any garden. To finish, the exterior of the building has been painted in the colour Earls Grey, which is just one of the six colours available from the National Trust paint palette.
