Take a walk on the wonderful side on the 25th August at the Trentham Estate, when the gardens are opening their doors to the public and offering a guided tour with the estate's own Italian Garden Supervisor.
With everything from a Capability Brown designed lake with a waterside walk, the gardens boast a fairy trail for the little ones, Rivers of Grass, a floral labyrinth and a contemporary revival of the famous Italian Gardens which was led by Chelsea gold-medal winner Tom Stuart-Smith. The estate also offers show gardens on a smaller scale, which aim to inspire visitors as to just what they can create in their own personal outdoor spaces.
Particularly at this time of year, visitors can enjoy a final kaleidoscope of colour before the Autumnal season takes hold, and perhaps come and visit us afterwards at the Home and Garden Centre, where you can find an array of high-quality timber buildings on display.
The tour starts at 1.30pm on Saturday 25th August and has a limited number of places available on a first-come-first-serve basis. If interested, you are encouraged to call ahead and book on 01782 646646 or visit the Gardens Entrance.
