Some of our lovely FSC® certified timber garden buildings have been dressed recently at our St Albans show centre by interior design company Joyful Living, who are local to our Norfolk HQ. Many of our buildings have been made over and dressed to give you a bit of interior design inspiration and to show you what is possible with your own garden building.
Our spectacular Garden Room, shown above, can be used as an extended living space so it has been dressed as a comfy sitting room. It has a plush sofa scattered with cushions of varying green hues, complementing the interior lining colour of Elephant’s Breath from Farrow & Ball’s rich and fully opaque paint system. Our Garden Rooms come lined, insulated and double glazed as standard and they also have an electric pack with heater installed too, ensuring they can comfortably be used whatever the weather may be outside.
Garden Buildings are not just limited for use as a lounge area, they can also be used as a craft and hobby room, demonstrated above with the sewing room setup inside our traditional-looking Langham Studio, or a home yoga studio, just like inside the modern Holt Studio featured below.
We have a range of building styles in our studio range, including both pent and apex roof designs, that can be tailored to suit your tastes as we have a variety of different interior and exterior finish options to choose from.
Other interiors dressed by the Joyful Living team include a potting shed inside a Classic Shed, a dining room inside a Wiveton Summerhouse, and a cosy garden retreat for two in our National Trust Lavenham Summerhouse.
If you are feeling inspired by these interior options and would like to take a closer look, we warmly invite you to come and see them for yourself at our St Albans show centre. It is located within the Notcutts Garden Centre St Albans, which is just four miles away from St Albans city centre. We currently have 33 buildings on display ranging from sheds, garages and greenhouses to summerhouses, studios and garden rooms.
