Just when you thought a quintessentially British music festival couldn’t get any better, The Big Feastival went and added gourmet food to the headliners. Taking place at Alex James’ Farm, who is the bassist from popular band, Blur, the event runs from the 24th – 26th August among the picturesque rolling fields of the Cotswolds.
The festival promises a family-friendly extravaganza with children’s entertainment ranging from tree climbing to a vintage funfair and performances from the likes of Basement Jaxx and Clean Bandit. The ultimate showstopper of the festival is the range of food available and chefs in residence throughout the weekend. You can look forward to sampling delights from the likes of Marco Pierre White, Raymond Blanc and Pierre Koffmann, with eating experiences ranging from various pop up restaurants to the Cheese Hub, as well as a vast selection of succulent street-food stalls.
As for grown-up refreshments, you can expect to see stalls, displays and experiences from various esteemed brands. Veuve Clicquot is the official champagne partner, offering a VIP Lounge with a private bar, premium toilet facilities main stage views and a complimentary glass of the good stuff upon arrival.
