This traditionally attractive garden shed is a 2.4 x 3.6m National Trust Blickling Garden Shed
, and it has been installed in our customer’s lovely country garden in Amberley, West Sussex to use for garden storage.
The National Trust Garden Sheds were designed alongside the National Trust, taking inspiration from the outbuildings used at National Trust properties, using modern techniques to create a range of practical yet beautiful sheds.
The Blickling has an apex roof covered with corrugated sheeting for wind and weather protection, a 2.4 x 2.4m internal shed storage space, and a 900mm wide sheltered log store for extra external storage space, whether for logs or for other weather-proof items.
Other traditional features of this shed include a set of Georgian windows, black cast iron door furniture, and rustic textured, vertical sawn boards for the external cladding.
The paint colour the customer chose for their new shed is Terrace Green, which is one of the six colours in the National Trust paint range, chosen for their traditional natural shades. Terrace Green allows this shed to blend in wonderfully with the trees that surround it.
The National Trust Sheds are simple but true gardeners’ sheds, made based on traditional styles with modern methods. The sheds come in set sizes, and are unlined internally, with the option of having a workbench inside.
