Traditional Ickworth Summerhouse in Tadworth, Surrey
This traditional garden summerhouse has been recently assembled in the garden of one of our customers, who is based in Tadworth, Surrey. The customer opted for the Ickworth Summerhouse
from our National Trust range as they wanted a large, traditionally looking summerhouse that was also under 2.5m high to meet modern planning requirements. The customer selected the garden building they wanted, then it was hand-crafted before being delivered and installed by our expert team of installers.
Inspired by an old outbuilding at Ickworth House in Suffolk, our chalet-style Ickworth Summerhouse has an overhanging apex roof with black corrugated roofing and cross leaded windows made from toughened glass. It is available in four different sizes, with this one measuring 3.0 x 2.4m (10 x 8ft) and features traditional style features such as cladding made from vertical sawn boards and cast-iron Fleur-de-Leys hinges and door furniture with mortice lock. This National Trust Ickworth Summerhouse has been hand-crafted from FSC® certified Scandinavian Redwood timber and it is painted in the colour Disraeli Green, which the customer chose out of the six shades available in the National Trust paint system.
For every summerhouse and shed sold from our National Trust range, a contribution is sent to the National Trust to help them converse the places they look after for years to come.
