National Trust Ickworth Summerhouse
This National Trust Ickworth Summerhouse was recently installed in Ruddington in Nottingham. The customer wanted the summerhouse in a corner of her garden so that when she is sat in it, she can overlook her whole garden.
The customer wanted this summerhouse so she could entertain her friends throughout the summer months.
This summerhouse is part of the National Trust range that has a very traditional style of building, which is in line with the types of garden buildings you will find at National Trust sites across the county (from a time gone by).
This particular Ickworth has been finished in Disraeli Green, a natural colour that helps the summerhouse blend in well with the customer’s garden.
In keeping with the style of the National Trust sheds and summerhouses, this Ickworth has got vertically sawn boards made with FSC® certified Scandinavian redwood, a corrugated roof and cast iron Fleur-de-Leys hinges and door furniture.
The Ickworth has got two opening windows which will allow plenty of air into the summerhouse during those warm summer nights, and it has a 0.4m roof overhang, which will provide a nice amount of shade for the front of the summerhouse.
The National Trust range of sheds are only available in standard sizes; however if you are considering ordering a non-standard size garden building, our Online Garden Building Planner Tool will enable you to specify every aspect of a garden building, from size, door, window and roofing options, to the interior and exterior finishes.
If you would prefer to speak to someone directly though, please contact one of our friendly team on 01760 444229 or Contact Us and we will be happy to discuss your specific garden building requirements.
