Summerhouses in Cotgrave, Nottingham
Our Flatford Summerhouse is part of our collection of sheds and summerhouses made in partnership with the National Trust. The design of all the buildings in our National Trust collection are inspired by the beautiful properties the Trust look after, with a contribution from each building sold going to the Trust to help conserve them. The Flatford National Trust Summerhouse is a pent roof summerhouse that has an attractive roof overhang. It has a set of double doors and two fixed windows to the front of the building, with an additional opening window installed on both sides. It is available in four different sizes, with our customer opting for our 1.8 x 2.4m size, which is the smallest size this building comes in.
All the summerhouses in our National Trust range, including our Flatford National Trust Summerhouse, have traditional design features. They have olden-style corrugated sheeting covering the roof, leaded windows, and cast-iron Fleur-de-Leys hinges and door furniture with a mortice lock. The interior of our Flatford Summerhouse is unlined, making it the perfect building to enjoy during the warmer months of the year, while the exterior is clad with vertical sawn boards that are left sawn for a more rustic finish. To decorate the buildings in our National Trust range, we offer a choice of six colours from our National Trust paint system, with our customer opting for the shade Dome Ochre.
As our customer was based not far from our Nottingham show centre, they were able to visit us to take a closer look at the quality of our buildings and all the different designs we offer. We would recommend a visit to one of our UK show centres to see the buildings for yourself, but if you would prefer to see all the different designs we offer before you arrive, you can view our summerhouse collection online. For more information about any of our buildings, you can give our Nottingham show centre a call on 01159 211098.
