Ickworth National Trust Summerhouse In Lossiemouth
The Ickworth is a traditionally styled summerhouse with an apex roof and a charming roof overhang which provides the building with protection against wind and rain. It also features double doors fitted with cross leaded glass and two cross leaded opening windows, which makes it perfect the admiring the rest of the garden.
An old outbuilding at Ickworth House in Suffolk was the source of inspiration for our chalet-style Ickworth Summerhouse, which also features an overhang and apex roof.
The external features of this summerhouse also add to its charming character, with its black corrugated sheeting on the roof and the cast iron Fleur-de-Leys style door and window furniture. The cladding is made from roughly cut, vertically sawn boards which help to give the building a more rustic look.
