This attractive chalet-style garden building is our Morston Summerhouse
, and it has been installed in our customer’s garden in Etchingham, East Sussex to become a place where they can come and relax and enjoy their garden from, inside or outside, in the summer months.
The Morston, along with our Blakeney Summerhouse, has a beach-hut feel to it with a roof overhang over the front gable, fully-glazed double doors and plenty of windows. The Morston also has the addition of a 1.2m deep sheltered veranda on the front, creating that extra option for how it can be used.
Heat-bonded heavy duty felt has been used to protect the roof, although you can also choose from either our cedar shingles or slate effect tiles as well.
The external cladding chosen by the customer is shiplap, which gives the timber a smooth finish, as opposed to the rough, sawn finish of weatherboard, which offers a more rustic look.
A very quick thanks to all your team for our Morston Summerhouse which was installed today - just outstanding in every way.

The finishing touches on this 3.6 x 3.6m Morston are the polished brass door and window furniture, and the summerhouse has been painted in the colour Sage from our Valtti paint range.
This Morston is unlined and uninsulated because that is what the customer wanted; however, it is also an option with this summerhouse to have it lined, insulated, and to even have double glazing and electrics if you so wish.
