Garden Room with Shiplap Cladding
This beautiful 4.2 x 4.8m Garden Room was recently installed for a customer based in Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire. Delivered and installed by our expert, in-house fitting team, the building was designed and built by hand at our Norfolk factory using only FSC® certified timber.
The building is a unique size due to its placement in the customer’s garden, which was taken into consideration during the design stages, allowing the customer to optimise her outdoor space. The building features a hipped roof covered with slate composite tiles and white guttering to keep off the elements. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap and painted in our Sage shade of exterior paint, which is the perfect colour choice to merge well in outdoor surroundings.
Sorry not to have been in touch with you a bit sooner. We’ve been rather busy! Anyway the garden room has been built and looks very good. Your people finished it a week or so ago and since then we’ve had the electrics connected, fencing built and the ground levelled for turf to be laid up to the building next month. We’ve even been to Ikea for some furniture etc. Many thanks for all your help. We’re absolutely delighted with everything. All best wishes.

Internally, the building is fully insulated and lined with an electrical pack and heater, making it fully-functional all year-round with the option to use appliances and lighting. There is painted interior lining in the shade of ivory which keeps an airy and spacious feel. Six opening Georgian windows also allow plenty of ventilation to pass through, which will be a welcome breeze on a balmy summers’ day.
